WHAT WE OFFER FOR YOU

Advanced Therapies & Treatments

SAINT® Protocol

Developed at Stanford University, SAINT is a cutting-edge therapy designed to provide rapid relief from treatment-resistant depression. Five days of treatment using patented brain-connectivity-driven selection of the optimal stimulation target leads to remission in ~70-75% of patients. LATMS is one of the First Clinics in the World certified to provide true SAINT treatments.

Accelerated TMS

With accelerated Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) patients have multiple treatments each day, typically over two weeks; this approach has helped people with complex mood, anxiety, OCD, and pain conditions recover much more quickly than with the 2008-vintage once-a-day treatment protocols.

Ketamine Treatment

Ketamine has helped many patients to return to wellness in the face of unremitting depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other conditions, by building new synaptic connections among cells via neuroplasticity. Dr. Cook administers ketamine according to best-practice protocols and monitors patients himself, ensuring a safe and rapidly-effective healing experience.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

I’ve tried antidepressants and therapy, but I’m still not better. Can you help?

Yes. Many of our patients come to us after exhausting traditional treatments without meaningful relief. That’s why we offer advanced options like Ketamine Therapy, Accelerated TMS, and SAINT — each designed to work differently than medications by stimulating the brain’s ability to rewire itself. These treatments are especially helpful for individuals with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, OCD, or PTSD.

What’s the difference between Ketamine, Accelerated TMS, and SAINT®?

Each of these treatments is designed to help patients who haven’t responded to traditional therapy or medication — but they work in different ways:
➡️ Ketamine Therapy: A fast-acting, intra-nasally-administered medication that stimulates neuroplasticity to relieve depression, anxiety, PTSD, and suicidal thoughts. Effects can begin within hours.

➡️ Accelerated TMS: A non-invasive brain stimulation therapy using magnetic pulses. It condenses the traditional 6-week TMS protocol into 1–2 weeks, offering quicker relief without medication.

➡️ SAINT (Stanford Accelerated Intelligent Neuromodulation Therapy): The most advanced TMS protocol available for major depression. It uses fMRI-guided neuronavigation and Stanford's patented targeting algorithms to deliver 10 sessions/day over 5 days, offering rapid, research-backed remission rates for treatment-resistant depression.

How does SAINT® differ from traditional TMS?

SAINT enhances traditional TMS by delivering accelerated treatment sessions at a personalized brain target, leading to faster and more robust outcomes for patients.

What if I’m not sure which treatment is right for me?

That’s completely normal. We start with a comprehensive consultation where we listen to your story, review your medical and treatment history, and work with you to map out the most appropriate next step. No pressure, no assumptions — just clarity and options.

Is a referral required to begin treatment?

Yes, patients must be referred by their current treating physician. The referring physician should use our Referral Form to initiate the process. If you're a physician, click here to access the referral form.

I don’t want to feel like I’m being passed from provider to provider. Will I work with the same person?

Yes. From your first consultation through every treatment session, you’ll work directly with Dr. Cook, who personally oversees your care. We intentionally keep our clinic small and focused, so your experience feels personal, attentive, and medically grounded—not rushed, mass-produced, or impersonal.

Additionally, Dr. Cook coordinates care with your primary psychiatrist who remains in charge of your overall care before, during, and after whatever treatments you receive at LATMS.

Will insurance cover my treatment?

LATMS does not participate in Medicare, Medi-cal, or any other insurance plans. As such, we are considered an "out-of-network" provider. Patients pay LATMS directly for care, and we are happy to provide you with a billing statement ("superbill") periodically, which you can submit to your insurance plan for reimbursement consideration, depending on the coverage policies of your insurer. This lets us focus all our resources on providing you with the best possible options for care, without interference from third parties.

Please contact the office to discuss fees.

How do I schedule a consultation with Dr. Cook?
